As a Physiotherapist, you will assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients to improve their physical mobility and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions and needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals.
- Provide hands-on therapy, including exercise rehabilitation, manual therapy, and pain management techniques.
- Educate patients on exercises and techniques for self-management and injury prevention.
- Work closely with patients to monitor their progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
- Registration with the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) or eligibility for registration.
- Proven experience in physiotherapy practice (minimum of 1-2 years preferred).
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in specific areas (e.g., musculoskeletal, neurological, pediatric, or geriatric physiotherapy).
- Additional certifications or postgraduate training in relevant specialties.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
