Key Responsibilities:

– Use a variety of therapeutic techniques and tools to assist patients in achieving their goals, including adaptive equipment, exercises, and training in specific activities.
– Collaborate with patients, family members, and a multidisciplinary team to set and achieve realistic and meaningful occupational goals.
– Evaluate home and work environments of patients and recommend necessary adaptations to support patient independence and safety.
– Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
– Educate patients and their families on strategies to manage daily activities and promote a healthy lifestyle.
– Stay current with the latest trends and research in occupational therapy to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
– Valid licensure and registration as an Occupational Therapist in the applicable jurisdiction.
– Proven experience in occupational therapy, with a strong understanding of a wide range of conditions and treatment techniques.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and educate patients and their families.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a creative approach to therapy.
