We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Administrator to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring financial records are kept up-to-date and accurate. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the finance department and requires a candidate who is proficient in financial record-keeping and possesses excellent numerical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

– Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, processing invoices, and managing accounts receivable and payable.
– Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports to provide insight into the organization’s financial health.
– Coordinate payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
– Manage the reconciliation of bank statements and financial accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
– Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
– Assist with budget preparation and monitoring, providing support to the finance team in financial planning and analysis.
– Handle financial queries and correspondence with clients, suppliers, and other departments within the organization.
– Support the finance team with audit preparation and execution, ensuring all financial information is readily available and accurate.

Qualifications and Skills:

– Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
– Proven experience in an accounts administration role or similar position.
– Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
– Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
– Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
– Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
